Math
5th grade is learning how to correctly place fractions on a number line.
We are also learning how to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators. We are converting fractions into decimals with dollar amounts and using a clock to find equivalent fractions.
Examples:
1/10 = $0.10 1/4 = $0.25 1/2 = $0.50
1/10 + 1/4 = 0.10 + 0.25 = 0.35 = 35/100 (5÷5) = 7/20 -

5th Grade is learning about ecosystems. We are exploring the parts and needs of different ecosystems.
